Stress

Ok so I am a sophomore taking a pretty challenging course load(IMO), I am feeling really stressed out because I’m only getting 5.5-6 hours of sleep as I have so much homework and tests along with basketball which is taking up an average of 2.5 hours a day. Will the lack of sleep affect me drastically?Is it worth it to uptake my hobby key word hobby not passion basketball if it means compromising my sleep

It seems to me that basketball might be the thing to KEEP, while taking a more realistic course load.

Life should be about more than work-- you’re 15 and should be able to play basketball and still keep up decent grades.

Lack of sleep can pile up and make handling things harder. Keep basketball because a physical outlet is good. Check to see if you can adjust your schedule a little as @bjkmom suggests. I agree you should be able to do school and sports and do well.

And get enough sleep.
