<p>Hey everyone, I am going to apply for treasurer and I want someone to look over my speech. </p>
<p>Student Research Society is in a close relationship with faculty of the Pharmaceutical Sciences Department, but encourages all students interested in pharmaceutical industry research to participate in the organization. </p>

<p>If you would like to run for an officer respond to this email by Monday, April 8th at 10pm. After that I will not take any more nominations. Please state your name, year, and major along with a short reason why you would like to be on EBoard or what qualifications you have.</p>

<p>My name is (wabbu2002) and I am a (science) major in the class of (2015). I am aspiring to be elected to the role of treasurer for Student Research Society because of my desire to become more involved in the organization that supports research, especially since I have been participating in research for two years.
Abraham Lincoln has said, I will prepare and some day my chance will come. I may not have any experience with being on an EBoard but I believe everyone deserves a chance to prove oneself. I believe I am capable of this position because I am honest, reliable, and trustworthy. Being a research assistant requires these traits as well. Not too long ago, I noticed a mistake I made that caused a result that drastically supported my research hypothesis of ionic liquids improving reaction efficiency. I didnt hesitate in telling the truth. Being in control of an organizations funds requires this honesty. If I am elected, I will do my best to ensure that the budget is used appropriately. The only thing I ask for is your faith in me.</p>
