<p>I’m from Australia studying B.Commerce/B.Arts majoring in finance & politics and considering a semester abroad in North America. I was wondering what people’s thoughts were on the following universities:</p>

Vanderbilt
George Washington Uni
UNC-Chapel Hill
Toronto</p>

<p>Toronto is clearly Canadian, so I won’t comment. However, the three others are all very respected schools. Georgetown is probably the best of the three in political sciences. George Washington is also located in Washington DC, it’s a very good school but probably ranks the lowest of these. UNC is the only public school on your list, but it’s considered to be among the best public universities in the US. You can’t go wrong with any of them.</p>
