Studying Abroad In Argentina? Is College Life Similar To America's College Life?

I’ve been thinking about moving to Argentina and studying in Buenos Aires. I just wanted to know from someone who had this experience, how college life is there? Is it similar to college towns, such as Isla Vista (UCSB), Tempe (ASU), or something of that type? I’ve been to Argentina before but I’m just not sure if it would be something like the college experience here in America. I want to be able to be surrounded by people my age, I’m 20, and be able to go party like in the dorms and such. Aside from the learning i feel that it is a very important part for me to have fun while there and not be stuck by myself.

Anyone with this experience in Argentina give some information?

Why are you going abroad hoping to find an American college experience?

Why not just go to an American college that has a good Argentina study abroad program and study abroad there for a year in your junior year?

If you still want work in America an Argentine degree will not be helpful.
