<p>hi, I’m new around here. I’ve been wanting to study advertising / mass media / communications for ages & have been looking at some schools in the states for a while. I already have a few schools that I’d really like to go to (UMich, Northwestern, maybe U of Ill) but lately I realized that even if I get in, paying for them would be a bit of a problem. I really do think that for what I want to study, going to school in the states would be the best but… as reality being what it is, I’m also looking for Canadian schools with good communications & media programs. </p>
<p>I heard that Ryerson is one of the best in the country but I’m not very fond of Toronto and something about that school just throws me off. And Carleton is out of the question, there’s no way I’m staying in ottawa
