Studying on the car?

So i’m taking a drive up to Tahoe/reno (SNOWWW YEAH) and i was thinking about productive ways to spend the car ride time. It’ll be ~ four hours.
I’m self studying quite a few AP’s, need to take my SATs, etc… so any thoughts?
Anything would be greatly appreciated =D

Um…bad idea. For me at least. I get so nauseous if try to read on the car.

But if you must, vocab cards are easy to digest. And if you have an iPhone/Touch, it’s easy to study off of those. I have SAT flashcards on them and I also downloaded some AP podcasts that go along with the textbook I’m reading.

Oh yeah, me too. I forgot to mention I can’t read on the car either. lol

Oh really? AP podcasts? That’s really cool! and another reason to get my parents to buy me one :)

You could get one for Christmas?

Make sure to bring some food. haha. Just in case you get hungry. (And it helps with the nauseousness)

My dad and brother are up in Tahoe/Reno right now. The snow’s apparently pretty good. I couldn’t go this year because I tore my ACL :[

PS. Not to be creepy or anything, but you sound like you’re from the Bay Area…

studying in the car is futile. listen to some music, talk with your family, get some sleep, look at the scenery…

I always bring food. haha its the most important thing.
That sucks, tearing your ACL :frowning: hope it heals quickly. Yeah, I’m from the bay area. You are too right? I remember from the Gunn thread…

“I get so nauseous if try to read on the car.”

Same. The only thing I can do in a car is look out the window. It’s nice doing that, though.

I found that studying in the car leaves me restless. I always try to get things done in the car, but nothing ever happens, and I find myself staring out the window or listening to my music - not bad alternatives, though.
