I am looking for a college preparatory college in the Marin area and came across Headlands Preparatory. It looks interesting but I wanted to check if anyone knows about the school and if it worth considering.
I don’t have experience with them, but I do find it curious that the college planning section of their site seems rather hollow. Unless I’m missing something, all I see is this page. If I were explicitly looking for a college prep program (as it seems you are), I would hope to see something a bit more robust, like something in the direction of the counseling team pages / matriculation lists at Branson or San Domenico.
Headlands seems to have an open house on July 24th; if getting clarity around the depth of their college counseling is important to you, that could be a good opportunity to learn more.

I was brought up in the small private school world in the Bay Area and have never heard of them, FWIW.
For college prep, I suggest these options:
Bay School in SF
Sonoma Academy in Sonoma
Marin Academy in San Rafael
Branson in Ross
San Domenico in San Anselmo
