i don’t think they officially said the 17th, someone just mentioned the 17th above because it is very close to when results came out last year (the 20th, i think)
Their admissions portal says decisions come out the 17th
How sad. Just logged into the portal and got this:
We have reviewed your application for the 2019 SUMaC. Although your application indicates many fine accomplishments, we are unable to admit you into the program this year. Please understand that your application was reviewed carefully, and this was not an easy decision for us to make.
This year’s applicant pool is much larger than in previous years, thus admission has become increasingly selective. Many excellent students have been denied admission due to the strength and size of the applicant pool.
We wish you the best of luck with your summer plans and thank you again for your interest in the SUMaC.

that’s so weird. maybe you got accepted? bc the only two people (here) that found out their decisions were ones that got rejected sooooo idk
(also considering your timezone, that’s a funny username lol)
im almost certain i didnt get accepted, my stats are okayish. also i plan on moving out to the west coast as soon as i can cause i absolutely love it
