i had only 1 recommendation because ive moved around a lot a wanted a teacher that could definitively comment on my current academic record
essays were pretty strong, wrote about how i worked my way up to president of a non-profit organization
felt very confident on the admissions exam, answered all 6 questions and finished them in about 2 weeks
i literally have no idea how i got in

How did you think you managed to solve all the questions and feel confident about them?
I think the questions seemed quite challenging, certainly beyond high school junior level.
I got into Program 2 (I’m a junior, rising senior). My stats really weren’t that good but I do think it’s primarily based off of the admissions exam.
SAT: 1560 (800 math)
Math subject SAT: 800
GPA: 4.1
In BC Calc and AP Stats
No AMC/AIME scores.
EC:
Went to SUMaC last year
Math Club co-president
Math tutor/teacher
Founder and president of a peer tutoring club at my school
Recommendation should be pretty good (from my math club advisor and AP Stats teacher)
Felt pretty confident about the problems (solved all of them) and I think my essays sounded really genuine and passionate so that should’ve helped.

My daughter received a wait-list email. We did not find anywhere in SUMAC web site mentioning when the accepted students need to pay the full tuition. Could the accepted students please share the timeline?
