Hi, I am filling the application for this year's Sumac and wanted a little help:
I changed schools after 10th, so would I have to get the transcript from that school and not my current school??
I dont have my 11th results yet, so can I send my 9th and 10th reports to Stanford??
Will I have to send all the documents(transcript, recs and solutions to the admission exam) all in one big envelope sealed??

I believe so. As it is, getting a transcript from your previous school for 9th and 10th grade now will save you many a headaches in December this year, while filling out the Common App. Be sure to save a PDF copy of that transcript on your computer so you don’t lose it.

I can’t imagine why Stanford would recommend snail mail. If you poke around the SUMaC website a little bit more, I am sure that you’ll find an option along the lines of attaching your documents online.

Good Luck! (y)

hey, thnx for the help Tizil. I just wanted to ask that do we need to send the 11th mid year report as well bcoz I dont have them??

It’d be best to send it in. When I see similar questions on Universities Facebook pages, the admissions offices usually reply by saying that they require all recent transcripts.

Actually, Tizil, I’m not sure SUMaC has a way to submit documents online. Call it old-fashioned, but they don’t get the huge volume of applications that colleges do, so I’m not sure it’s worth the trouble for them to come up with something like that.
