I saw FUN with Tegan and Sarah as openers–great show. Nate Ruess was a wild bundle of energy on stage and belted so fiercely that I began to worry about his vocal cords. Lena Dunham (of Girls) was a couple of rows in front of us (her boyfriend is in the band) and we got to chat a bit. (In case you’re dying to know, yes, she’s much more attractive in person.) It was at an outdoor venue, and luckily we had sprung for the covered section, because it poured buckets right in the middle of the show.

Momma J, my son and GF saw FUN/Tegan and Sarah - they actually went for the purpose of seeing Tegan and Sarah - FUN was secondary to them!

Summer Concert time again…

Aug. 8 - 10: http://www.sfoutsidelands.com/home/ Great line up of bands, artists…

And Glen Hansard is playing the night before in Oakland.
Tom Petty would be great, although for festivals, I prefer just to float around & see who I see.
We went in '09 & had a great time.
I need to get tickets to Jeff Beck & ZZTop at the Woodinville winery.

I going to this summer tour:

[Queen + Adam Lambert](<a href=“Queen + Adam Lambert: iHeartRadio Music Festival Las Vegas Full Gig [FULL HD 1028p 20.09.2013.] - YouTube”>Queen + Adam Lambert: iHeartRadio Music Festival Las Vegas Full Gig [FULL HD 1028p 20.09.2013.] - YouTube)

^^^ That will be sweet!

We have tickets to Gavin Degraw and Matt Nathanson (and Mary Lambert).

If you have a chance to see Steve Winwood, go.
Do not hesitate, just go.
He opened for Tom Petty last night at Moda Center. Petty was meh, but Winwood & his band was smoking.
Amazing stuff, what a back catalog.
