Yeah if I don’t get into RTF I don’t think I’ll go to UT with the dismal odds of internally transferring. Im 27 and don’t have the luxury of being fresh out of high school or time to waste. I’ll be at UNT as well I suppose. How’s their program?
Just found out I got admitted to A&M for CS after having my application looked at a second time. Still waiting on UT to look at my spring grades and give me an answer. Pls.

@UTW8ingNH8ing Well, that sucks. I already have over 30 credit hours before the application deadline. I’m going to give UT a call tomorrow to see if that deadline still applies since they are giving out decisions so late.
@TheThinker7 , talk to them. Since you are still in review, it’s not so bad. Don’t loose your sleep over it, we’ll be fine.
If you had all prerequisite and 30 hours completed before the spring I don’t think the deadline of June 1st apply to you. @thethinker7
@MyUTAustin I’ll try not to lose sleep over this. This is nerve wracking. I wonder if that’s the reason why I didn’t hear back yesterday with other ECE applicants.

However, that webpage was updated back in 2014. It might be different now, hopefully.
@TheThinker7 I have over 30 hours so I called in late May (before the deadline) and asked the same question. They told me that I didn’t have to send it in by June 1st because they had all the documents needed to review my application. If you get in and decide to go, however; you will need to send them your final Spring 2015 transcript. You’re fine.

@UTlimbo That’s what I assumed as well. Since @TheThinker7 is in review, they should already have everything they need. So I think if he decides to go to UT and was accepted, then he has to send in an updated transcript.
I applied to transfer to UT for the fall of 2016. On the My status website it says I still need to submit my transcript which I did a day after my friend did. He was accepted today but on the my status website it says I still need to submit mine for them to review my application. Im worried that I wont be accepted. Any Help?
Hey guys, I’ve been following this thread for a while now, and I was wondering if anyone has heard back from the comm school lately? I feel like I’ve hardly seen any comm school acceptances, but mostly just COLA acceptances. I applied for RTF as my first choice major and I’m not really sure if I should be feeling hopeful as I’m still in review, or if maybe the comm decisions have already gone out and I’ll be given a COLA major instead.
Has anyone heard back from chemical engineeering? @MyUTAustin
