Summer Orientation Dates

To any current students or alumni or anyone who can help, is there any real benefit to attending earlier orientation dates? I know that early registration (i.e. signing up now) is “strongly encouraged” since the availability of certain dates may be problematic later on, but if you’re a student in some school and can choose from several orientation dates to attend, is it beneficial to go as early as possible? Would scholars who attend later dates get priority registration over other first-years who aren’t scholars but went to the first or second orientation? And lastly, can students attend on a date that isn’t intended for them?

thanks!

All the sessions are roughly the same.

Seats in many courses are released little by little, for each session.
