<p>I was interested in either a Summer Volunteer Program offered by rusticpathways.com or possibly a summer program dealing with International Relations or Economics.</p>
<p>First off, how difficult is it to get into the Global Scholar Program at Washington and Lee?</p>
<p>Second off, will colleges appreciate the volunteer trip when I am applying? Will it look good on my transcript?</p>
<p>By the way this summer I will also have a job and I’ll be doing a lot of additional volunteer work. I’m just worried that I won’t have enough Extracurricular activities to get into good schools.</p>
