Super Bowl

So, My team, the Pittsburgh Steelers, are out.

But, I want to root for someone!

So, I am pulling for the Minnesota Vikings! Great , exciting win.

The other three, I have grudges against all of them!

Jacksonville. They beat us today. Need I say more.

Philadelphia. We got a parking ticket while there on business recently. Appealed it to no avail. Be VERY careful in Philadelphia with parking!

New England. Questionable game ending last time with the Steelers. Plus, they have won many times before.

Go Vikings!

Really, who cares? All I can think about is brain damage.

Philadelphia - QB went to my high school.

Saints - QB went to my high school.

New England - lived here for 30 years. I have to root for them!

@Consolation Brain damage sucks, but you can’t blame the players. They love the sport.

I will be rooting for whichever team kicks the Patriots out!! I liked the Vikings’ win today.

Well, most people also care about brain damage! Who cares about the Super Bowl? Lots of people! Hopefully, those that are interested can discuss it here!

That was the craziest game ending I’ve ever seen. Holy cow!

I was rooting for the Eagles but now I’m not sure.

Tom Brady went to Michigan so usually root for the patriots but how great it would be for the Jags to go to the Super Bowl.

If you are a Lions fan, you know you have to root for a team that isn’t yours.

What a weekend of games.

vikequeens at home.

umm

Patriots all the way! I know most people hate them or are sick of them, but I grew up in MA and most of my life they were horrible! I figure after about 29 years of watching them stink I will take what I can get and ignore everyone complaining about them.

I do like the other teams who made it though - all of the games were great.

Vikings.

Would’ve been the Steelers because Le’veon Bell.
Vikings now because half of my family lives in Michigan… and let’s face it, the lions have always and will always suck… but the other half (maternal side) lives in MN and they’re huge Vikings fans. So Vikings it shall be.

Or whoever versus the Patriots.

. Which one?? B-)

Nick Foles . Westlake High School in Texas. Drew Brees is an alumni as well.

Patriots, mostly because Brady is a Wolverine. DH is bummed because we’re in Ireland for a few weeks and he says he’s not getting up in the middle of the night to watch. I’m not putting any money on that…

Vikings all the way. They’ve always been my second-favorite team going back to the Bud Grant days. And that great catch yesterday was made by a Longhorn so …

Ds1 last year moved back to MN so he’s really excited. I think it would be cool to have a team with home-field advantage at the Super Bowl. I drove by the stadium when I helped moved him up there this summer. I love the Viking ship up front.

^ @“Youdon’tsay” - my daughter moved to Minneapolis 2 years ago and is marrying a MN native this May. Her future in-laws are longtime, die-hard Vikings fans.

Her future father-in-law suggested that they blow a Gjallarhorn at the wedding reception. Could be worse – could be a suggestion for the marriage ceremony.

I love the Patriots and hope they make it to the big game. My grandfather was a Vikings fan so I hope to see them there too. If those are the teams, I’d be happy with either one winning.

Typically the SB venue wants both teams to be out of towners, due to economic impact of visitors (hotels/restaurants/car rental/taxis). Would having MN in the Super Bowl have a negative impact on local economy expectations?

There was an NFL season this year???
