For the Browns…there is always next year.
If they make it to the playoffs, we will all have to buy new t shirts!

If that’s true that’s really disappointing. And he probably cost himself millions on the free agent market. How stupid can you be?
Brady claims he is in better shape now, and feels better, than when he was 25.
Maybe his fancy diet and flexibility routine actually works. Maybe it’s being married to a supermodel. B-)
I’m not buying the TB12 and the Purple Carrot thing. We all start to lose muscle and testosterone as we age. And I have a “fancy diet” and flexibility and exercise routine too.
However, I’m not married to a supermodel. So I might buy that reason. :))
@sushiritto, I hope your wife doesn’t see your post #302. All women want to think their husband thinks of them as a supermodel! @-)
Has anyone discussed the fact that Tom Brady skulked off of the field and did not shake hands with Foles? And then his wife’s comment about “letting” another team win? Bad sportsman behavior. Would not allow my children to behave that way. Disappointing.
Let’s assume for the moment that I am married, I certainly hope my wife would be realistic or grounded enough to know that she’s not a supermodel. And I’m no Chris Hemsworth either. ;))
I’ve not seen this mentioned in this thread. I’m surprised more hasn’t been made of this elsewhere. It’s very disappointing and feeds into the hatred for the Pats mentality.
There are pictures of Brady shaking the hand of other Eagles.
Most likely, when the game ended, all hell broke loose, chaos ensued, a zillion people hit the field, and Foles (as SB MVP) was quickly whisked away to the podium. They may not have been able to quickly find each other in the bedlam, and Brady probably didn’t want to go near the podium and intrude on the Eagles’ celebration.
Or we could just assume Brady is a jerk. Either way.
Everything they do is under a microscope. People make assumptions without knowing all the facts.
Allegedly he didn’t shake Eli Manning’s hand, either (times two)? But when he wins, the other quarterbacks manage to find him in spite of the “chaos.”
I haven’t really paid that much attention before. Maybe others more plugged in know better.
I like how you think.
:))
Doesn’t Cleveland have that basketball team? isn’t that enough? B-)
In terms of Brady’s performance in the game, the Patriots scored on each possession in the second half (prior to the last two), right? Without the strip sack (which as on 2nd and 2 from about their own 35), is it unreasonable to think they could score to re-take the lead (with 2.5 minutes to play and I think a time out left)? I would think a large percentage of the viewing audience at this point were expecting the Patriots to march down the field and score (having seen that movie many times before). He fumbled on the only sack of the game. No doubt all of that matters but it seems to me that for 57+ minutes Brady was doing fine (including the first 3 possessions of the second half). In the end it comes down to making plays and the Eagles did that. Just not sure I would go so far as saying Brady is washed up.
I don’t know what Brady did in terms of shaking hands after the game. I did see something this morning which indicates that his wife stopped and congratulated every Eagles player she saw on her way out of the stadium.
Actually what made the news was Giselle’s explanation of Daddy’s loss to their kids. It’s all about “sharing.”
Is it really fair to say Brady “fumbled”? He was stripped of the ball when his O-line allowed penetration.
Sometimes players just drop the ball totally on their own. But more often than not it seems to me they are hit and lose control of the ball. In both instances, I believe its recorded as a fumble.
Recent trends would say no, there isn’t a professional basketball team in Cleveland. :-j
Fun fact–apparently Brady’s never won a Superbowl if Eli’s in the building. His kryptonite?
there is one photo of Brady shaking hands with an Eagle after the game ( ( suppose I could do more google research:) and Foles confirmed that he looked for Brady and they did not shake hands. Brady left the field 30 seconds after the game ended, so I’m not sure if I’d say he tried, but whatever excuse you’d like to use for bad sportsmanship;)
We hold teenagers to better behavior on this board.
So does Foles now get an honest shot to compete for the starting job next season? Or does Wentz get to just step back in and Foles resumes his seat on the bench?
