<p>SF played worse than expected to save steam for the next game.</p>
<p>Hard to say any team played poorly or worse than expected. Those were really the two best NFC teams with better offenses than defenses. Close and exciting game. </p>
<p>49ers were just a bit better than the Falcons. The adjustments by Harbaugh show he is a remarkable coach. Something we have learned to love in the Bay Area with impressive revivals at Stanford and now this team.</p>

<p>This has been a tough day. Went to the funeral/memorial service for the husband of a friend. At that service was another friend who lost her husband 2 months ago. We took her out to lunch. Then had a friend over for dinner and watched our team lose in a nailbiter. Tough day… (except enjoyed having our neighbor over for dinner- that was a bright spot). Still no sympathy?</p>
