<p>Legal, but it nearly decapitated him - or so it seemed. Also the hit on Ed Reed when he received the punt - CRACK, but not called. The call against Ray Lewis had the NE player ducking his head at the last second, seemingly to draw the foul. Maybe, maybe not - who knows, but they called it. With NE’s history of cheating and the NFL loving them so much, I wonder… and I hope this game is clearly decided on the playing and not on the officiating.</p>

<p>As a Patriots fan, this isn’t looking too good for them as I expected. It will be 49ers against the Ravens. That game won’t be close as I expect the 49ers to crush them.</p>

<p>Looked to me (especially when they showed the replay) that Ridley led with his helmet into that hit. I don’t care who wins this game, but I sure didn’t think that was a dirty hit by Pollard.</p>
<p>Ugh, I don’t think it should ever be ruled a fumble when someone is knocked unconscious. Legal hit or no, I don’t understand why the officials are OK with that. Last year, Pierre Thomas was knocked out by SF and it was ruled a fumble and he was out for the game too. Not good. Still, it’s odd that the NE player again ducked his head at the last minute. I’ve never played football but is it some weird reflex to protect the ball? Or could they have been coached to do this? The hit wouldn’t have been bad if he hadn’t ducked his head.</p>
<p>Never said Pollards hit was dirty. He knocked out another NE player.</p>

<p>Wow! What a game! Brother vs brother now, in the Super Bowl. People are calling it the Har Bowl. :)</p>
<p>CBS sports team reported that Belichick gives fans a reason to hate the Patriots by his classless behavior avoiding the press when he comes up short. He did the same thing last year. Guess he is a sore loser and will only take questions when he wins.</p>
<p>I hope the 49ers win, but I probably won’t watch the game.</p>
