Superbowl predictions

That tribute to the hurricane Katrina power outage was so moving…
;)

Bwahahahahahahaha!!

The power outage was the best part of the game.

Huzzah!

I don’t think it would have been a close game without the blackout- so in many ways, thank you blackout. You made the game far more interesting :D

horrendous call, just freaking horreendousssws!!!@!

Wah wah wah.

Games never really come down to one play, one call, one anything.

Although this one ALMOST came down to one power glitch  lol

What a game! I wanted the niners to win, and they didn’t, but at least they made it exciting and suspenseful.

no! did you see that??!! if you take out the endzone, and the time on the clock, that is CLEARLY holding! with 1st and 3, SF would have been 2 points up, and it would’ve been real football. not this intentional safety BS.

Go RAVENS!!!

If you want horrendous, look no further than the coaching and special teams play of the 49ers on the last punt. They were completely unprepared for the Ravens to potentially take a safety and run time off the clock, and it cost them any opportunity at a Hail Mary. Jim Harbaugh’s antics throughout the game were childish and embarassing. He got outcoached by big brother…deal with it and quit trying to blame the refs.

he turned Stanford from a 2-10 team into a conference champion team. And then he turned the 49ers from the worst team in their division into superbowl contenders in two years. Are you serious???

And for the record, the ravens were holding 49ers players on that safety play (go see the replay), but there was no flag for it, not even a mention from the announcers - not that a hail mary would have accomplished anything.

Ray Lewis invoking God being for him really bugged me though.

Yep…totally serious. Just because he’s talented doesn’t mean he’s not a whiny little child. He has been since his days as the quarterback of my Wolverines, and nothing has changed. He was so busy complaining about calls he failed to prepare his team for the most critical play of the game. Epic fail…plain and simple.

Missed calls by the refs are a part of the game. They didn’t call 2 different holds on Kaepernick’s TD run. They didn’t call at least a half dozen pick plays by 49ers receivers during the game. It happens on both sides, all game every game.

And to top if off…he’s now hiding in the locker room pouting and refusing to come out for an interview. Childish to the end. Attaboy Jimmy.

Niners seemed unfocused early in the game. After the first play of the second half, I decided to take a break and go to the store. When I came back, a different game! They played great after the power outage, almost made it. Fun to watch.

I don’t care if the refs have missed calls in the middle of the 3rd or even the 4th quarter. But could they maybe not do it on game changing plays, like say, a pass interference near the goal line with less than 2 minutes to go? Also, it’s not harbaugh’s fault kapernick couldn’t control his nerves, and shanked so many passes. I think he called a great game. and who in their right mind would go out for a press interview after a stupid loss like that?

A professional.

A mature adult…like NFL coaches are supposed to be. Belichick took grief for doing the same thing when they lost to the Ravens 2 weeks ago, and he deserved every bit of criticism. It’s part and parcel of coaching in the NFL. Grow up and deal with it, or find a different job.

^^^^ That. These guys get paid a lot of money. Man up.

I am a 49er fan. The Super Bowl ended up an exciting game.
I thought the 49ers were going to score on their last possession when it was first and goal, but it didn’t happen.

Congrats to the Ravens.

I think he may have a reason to refuse an interview. He may want to avoid to say the wrong thing when emotion is still high. He may not want to spoil his brother’s night. He may want to think over about what happened.
