<p>Jim Harbaugh did shake his brother’s hand after the game. Perhaps it wasn’t shown on TV, but there are several news outlets with photos of him shaking his brother’s hand.</p>

<p>The brothers did a bit more than merely shake hands. And it was shown on live TV. You could have missed it because the shot that was just before it was one of the typical group of celebrating players. </p>
<p>Both are great coaches. Competitive and really smart.</p>
<p>Yes, according to John, he told Jim and th loved him and Jim said, “Congratulations.” I don’t think John thought about how strange that sounded. Can you imagine telling someone you love them and they respond with, “Congratulations”?</p>

<p>Yes, I saw the Harboughs talk at midfield. I only brought up the HS midfield thing as a long-standing example of sportsmanship, just like a postgame interview.</p>
<p>I don’t see any purpose of the losing coach having to do an interview after the game…It’s the winning team’s time in the spotlight…I don’t care to see a crushed coach being interview minutes after losing…what’s the point?</p>
<p>Wow, real football is over again. Back to settling for basketball or the Icescapades until the baseball starts again, but even that looks less promising than the past three years. </p>
<p>Thank God for overseas soccer or the withdrawal would be too hard.</p>

<p>Oh no, I am actually always rooting AGAINST ManU as it has always attracted “stars” I do not like a bit. And just the same for Liverpool. I love it when they lose. The late victory by City in the last seconds that took the title away from the greedy paws of Ferguson was one the sweetest things of 2012. </p>
<p>The good news is that there several teams in the UK I like much better, including some of the underdogs. </p>
<p>Soccer is so subjective! For instance, I respect Barcelona but also want them to lose as often as possible. Too bad for me, they make it hard!</p>
<p>PS The big scandal is as bad as it gets, and probably the tip of the iceberg. Game cheating has reached amazing depths as it is even present in lower divisions.</p>
<p>We will hear the dreary “Pitcher and catchers reporting to camp.”</p>
<p>Ravens played a great game and deserved to win. Young 49ers were very jittery in the first half. Had a great comeback but not quite enough.
Jim should be much more graceful.</p>
<p>What they say about Jim in Detroit! Jim is being Jim, and that equates to a great coach who does not stand fools, and is getting closer and closer to his just desserts. </p>
<p>Some bad luck deprived him to get in the NCAA, but it is only a matter of time before he joins his brother in the Super Bowl success.</p>
<p>This soccer scandal is disappointing. Over 600 games tainted. Not good.</p>
<p>I don’t know why the 49ers didn’t run the ball 4 times at the end of the game.</p>
