Got an unable to accept you from your Dancewave audition from Purchase.
did you get the same email discussed above? That they are inviting to come back to campus to audition and waiving audition fee?
apparently they dont accept anyone outright from dancewave.
We also heard from Rutgers the other day with BFA acceptance and received an unable to accept you from Purchase and to come onsite to audition, but did not receive a fee waiver. Fortunately, that wasn’t the top of DD’s list.
We did go to Towson this past weekend for an audition and was happy with the school and program. That is one of the top three choices for DD. (Buffalo, Towson and Temple)
Has anyone heard from Temple? We haven’t heard anything from them, just a general information email

that is the response we received from Purchase as well. I was actually surprised, but did just told me she will go an re-audition
@Jenibv we heard back from Temple but it was in response to our application/request to schedule an audition. So I’m guessing that triggered the response. As far as I know, no one else on here has heard back from them.
We visited Towson last weekend and my daughter really liked it a lot! It’s definitely moved higher on her list. How was the audition?
FYI my dd reached out to Montclair State and was told that she does not have to come back to campus to audition; the audition and/or the supplemental materials are only for scholarship consideration. So apparently there are doing some direct admits from Dancewave this year.
Yes we got the same email. But we would like to be considered for scholarships so we’ll be heading to campus in a few weeks to audition for that.
DD for an acceptance email from Temple last week. It’s not top on her list but we’ll will attend their BFA for a day program in November

@“Ksmama**” we visited Towson last week and they gave my dd her results verbally. They said she would receive an official letter but we haven’t gotten anything yet.
My dd got email from Towson saying based on your audition I am unable to make a decision and encouraged her to come to an on campus audition. So sounds like not hearing yet may mean better news.

George Mason - Call back - will attend 11/9 audition. Has applied to school.
ECU - Last email said they would be in touch soon. Plans to attend Feb 7 audition either way. Has academic acceptance.
Point Park - Submitted academic application and waiting to hear about both.
U of Arts - Visited Mon after Dancewave and decided not to apply so won’t get results.
Rutgers - Did not audition but accepted. Will attend scholarship audition on Dec 7.

seems like everyones been getting pretty good information and results thus far from dancewave!!
It’s also interesting to see that programs seem to be looking for different things and/or don’t get a good look at everyone…
yes very interesting. i guess its hard to make a decision from dancewave on some dancers because its such a short audition, so thats probably why they invite a lot of people back to audition - they’re probably interested but can’t make a determination yet.
