I’m having surgery on Friday and music can be a great way to lift the spirits. I have quite a varied list of artists on my iPhone–Coldplay, Joss Stone, Adele, Jason Mraz, Kanye, Jack Johnson, Wiz Khalifa, Cee Lo, Alabama Shakes, Gary Clark Jr., Goodie Mob, and some classic rock. Oh–I can’t forget Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds—>don’t worry about a thing.

So, share some of what’s on your playlist. This thread may end up costing me a bunch of money in downloads, but I’m always looking for new music.

Given your interest in Alabama Shakes and rock in general, I would definitely recommend Jack White’s new album and anything by The Black Keys and/or The White Stripes.

Thanks everyone. I have a pretty wide range of music in my Favorite Playlist and only listed a few of them. I forgot to mention–Michael Jackson, a couple of James Taylor/Carole King duets, Sara Bareilles, and some old Motown stuff. I love using the shuffle option and enjoying the random mix of them.

bjs_7, It’s funny you mentioned Jack White’s new album. A couple of days ago, I accidentally downloaded one of the songs—Blunder something or other. It’s not my cup of tea, but his fans seem to really love this album.

I just thought of some–Crosby, Stills, and Nash. How could I have forgotten to add a couple of these classics?
Logging off for a little while to dowload some songs–:)
