Congrats on your daughters acceptance. I spoke with admissions and financial aid last week. All scholarships come with your acceptance letter. If you did not receive one then you are not getting one. The scholarships have all been given out already. You may receive a merit grant in your financial aid package when it is completed though. I myself only received grants and no scholarship. My stats were very good 4.3 gpa and lots of community service. Every other school I applied to, 15 schools in all, awarded me with a scholarship and instant placement within the honors program. So I have no idea why I didn’t receive one from Syracuse. I certainly cannot afford their tuition without one. Good luck with your daughters decision. Looks like she has many other good opinions
My daughter applied in mid-October and still hasn’t heard back. BU received over 75,000 applications and both with ED1 and RD released all decisions on the day that was released. I am trying to be open-minded and with Covid many Universities have had hiring freezes so who knows maybe they are short-staffed at Syracuse in the Admissions office.
Also, Syracuse is a CSS school, so your financial aid will be based on that and not FAFSA. They don’t meet full need, so it’s a crapshoot! We’re still waiting, but have pretty much crossed it off the list after this admissions mess! Good luck everyone!

I think tomorrow will probably be the day since their last emails said that decisions would be soon and that email was only the other day. At any rate, they might even come out next week since they don’t seem to have a definitive date.
We got emails about our financial aid forms a few weeks ago and still have no decision, so I don’t they are connected.

I think someone emailed the admissions office or counselor two days ago or monday and posted that they said decisions would come out “soon”.
Ohhh ok that makes sense. I thought you meant that had sent out an email to everyone who hadn’t received a decision yet, so I was confused why I hadn’t gotten one.
I called the admissions office today and they said everyone would hear “soon”. They said to call back in 24 hours if I haven’t heard anything.

It sounded like they are trying to, but nothing confirmed. I would call them tomorrow afternoon if you haven’t heard yet.
They are trying to get out the rest of the decisions or are they going to post financial aid?
I have a good feeling they will come Friday. It seems like they have been sticking to that schedule. Knowing them, I would doubt that they release anything early lol
