same with me but i called and they said that financial aid information will be released in about 7-10 business days because there were 2 forms i still needed to fill out

What two forms were you missing and did your portal indicate that you were missing forms?
is there a chance of them releasing decisions today ?
Im not sure. I feel like it’s more likely that it’s Wednesday or April 1st. I know of a few colleges releasing tmr (including NYU where I applied.)

I hope so. I thought I would get my decision by last Friday at least. Does anyone know if my decision release may have been affected because they were having trouble with my financial aid information? I kept having to re-upload information.

That’s definitely a possibility. I’m not sure why I, along with many others haven’t received decisions yet either. There isn’t a clear cause

anyone still not hear back? i’m fairly certain ill get in (34 act, 4.5 gpa, and double legacy). i’m annoyed with how long this is taking!!

Hey Syracuse…UCLA had almost 140,000 applications and…
UCLA will notify freshman applicants of admission decisions by April 1, and admitted students will have until May 1 to notify the campus of their intent to register. Transfer students will be notified of admission decisions by April 30 and will have until June 1 to commit.

Congratulations to your daughter! Reading that your recently accepted D has already attended orientation sessions and is signed up to sit in on classes etc. makes it clear that all of the applicants that haven’t heard back yet are having their applications held until they hear back from the first choice acceptances. Does Syracuse not use WL? It seems like they are staggering decisions to control yield.

I was accepted on the 19th to my second choice school (albeit my first choice was a dual enrollment and my second choice was one of the schools in that dual enrollment) so it’s probably not that.

My daughter was accepted last Friday. First, to those of you who haven’t heard, we assumed she had been rejected by that point But I talked to an admissions person and every wave has acceptances and rejections. I guess what I’m saying is don’t give up hope. That said, my daughter’s acceptance letter had ZERO mention of any sort of merit scholarship. Does that mean no scholarship offer is forthcoming and the Financial Aid offer will be FAFSA-based only? We still don’t see anything posted on the Financial Aid portal, but if it just going to be student/parent loans we are not going to be able to swing it. She received good merit offers at just about every school she was accepted to, and I was hoping that Syracuse would be the same. Without it, it’s not a viable option. What a blow. I’m hoping maybe scholarship offers may still be pending.

My daughter was accepted last Friday also. A merit scholarship was included with the acceptance.
