Is anyone applying to Syr’s JD program ED? Still haven’t heard anything from them.
Is anyone applying ED2? If so, what majors, stats, etc?
and is there an expected release date, maybe based on previous years?
Has anyone seen anything about an accepted students’ day coming up?
My son is waiting on ED 2.
I’ve seen a few people ask, wondering if all decisions are out on the same day and time or if notifications are in batches.
It might depend on how many they are considering for ED2. With ED1, they were released in batches.
For Early Decision 2, does anyone know the release date? It says “Mid-January” but the FAFSA is due January 25 for Syracuse. So should I assume it will come out before then?
Syracuse will not be receiving students’ FAFSA information until the end of month. In fact, that is for all schools. Now that it seems the FAFSA people got their house in order, I would just make sure you submit the form along with the CSS Profile if you are seeking grant money. Syracuse advised that they will be providing estimated fin aid award packages based on the available information they have at the time (presumably the CSS Profile information).

Is there an earlier admitted students day for ED kids, or will it be in April with all admitted students in ED1, ED2 and RD ?
I do not know the specific date. Bookmark their Admission Deadlines and Guidance webpage. For ED1, they released some decisions the day before the 12/22 listed date.
Nothing has been planned yet. You may want to follow their calendar of admitted student events. As of now, there are virtual admitted events for specific schools like Whitman that begin next week for ED students.
My son just heard that he was accepted to Syracuse (ED 2) with a nice size founders scholarship. So so happy for him!!

Congrats! Do you know if ED2 is in batches or rolling or anything? My daughter keeps checking but nothing there.

I don’t know , My son called me around 4:15 today and said there was an update to his portal, and he was accepted. He has been checking like crazy… Funny thing is the planned school that was supposed to release today still has not released. Syracuse, we weren’t expecting to hear from until next week.
