Do you guys think they’ll do it in waves?
Well I think they did for the first early decision but that may have been a rumor. Plus they said we would find out starting around mid January so maybe 15-16 would be the first wave
applied to college of engineering and CS as first choice…
Do we still have the higher early decision acceptance rate if they review our apps with regular decision? Im so nervous, I originally submitted my app as RD but then changed my mind and switched to EDII hoping I would have a better shot. good luck to you guys 
Hey @glc1108 I did the same thing. I hope so because I read somewhere that they accept 65% of all ED applicants but I’m not so sure about that. But I do think that it still applies to us because we get our decisions back very quickly after the deadline
@LaurynMV @glc1108 yes, you’re right. College data says: Early Decision Admission Rate= 65% of 1839 applicants were admitted. I think this was in 2015, but should be similar for this year.
btw guys…are applications are probably going to be reviewed/ finalized this week!! Hopefully, we’ll all get in ia!

@caasse I figured. And yes I hope so because I’m so anxious. I also did apply for a lot of FA being that my single parent makes under $30K

Yeah I visited today and they said late this month to mid next month we find out. They push back the date for our first payment so we have more time to decide
that’s sad!! I was really expecting to know by the 20th max… that was the whole point of E.D. But I guess we just gotta wait 
@itsmecalp yeah but they should know we’re pretty decided if we’re doing ed. also wasn’t payment date around May something anyway?
@caasse I mean after the guy explained it to me, there is around 33,000 total applications and they try to do it all together but we as EDII applicants are in a different pool. He also told me that admission results will be released in batches
@itsmecalp oh…so it means we ‘can’ expect them to roll starting mid-January right? as far as I know, regardless of how many applications they have, even if they do them all together, they start from ed2 and thus respond us first… let’s just keep our fingers crossed meanwhile

I had just called and it’s so confusing because some of them are saying that they are definitely coming out starting mid January and some are saying that they are starting Feb. 1st in one batch. I guess we just have to wait it out and see
@LaurynMV I called them today and the lady on the phone said that they should roll out starting mid-Jan and that she hasn’t heard anything about them rolling out late. Also yeah, they’ll be coming in batches. Let’s hope for the best less than a week away now…!
