I should clarify-she suggested making a deposit it you are wait listed and haven’t heard by May 1

@bling0202 did they release another batch of acceptances? when? I thought they’d been accepting people since this first batch went out on the 17th

Hi guys!! I just made an account… I called admissions and the woman said decisions would be released in the next week (it took everything in me not to scream) but then I asked if that meant before April 1st and she said “I hope” 
There’s literally some rule colleges agree to that says they must have all decisions out by April 1. I can’t believe Syracuse gets away with breaking this every year. They were my number one but the longer I wait and the more I hear about their messed up admissions process the more it falls on my list.
@bling0202 so was it all denies after that, or from what I know the first batch of rejections only got released on Friday the 24th? Idk why I feel like I saw people on this thread say they got accepted after the 17th? (lol I could be wrong though, there’s been so much going on here I probably got it confused)

@mattm12334 Last week they said they hadn’t even gone through every applicant. I can’t believe that they finally got through everybody and was like nah we don’t want a single one of you.

tbh since it’s only been one batch of rejections and acceptances, with only a few more released after I’d kinda expect a bit of everything. Two weeks long time, and way long overdue

@mattm12334 Cause they’re supposed to let us know by April 1 and I guess they were trying to stick to it and can’t. Their admissions process must have an awful system.
@ryguyee I really can’t believe when they were still reviewing applicants last week that they didn’t find anybody else they wanted to accept. I think they’ll be sending out one last batch of acceptances.
it’s kind of hard to believe that syracuse may wind up releasing decisions after the ivy league schools do…
this is awful what they are putting these kids thru. Very disappointing
They sent out ED and 2 batches of RD and then it appears random acceptances then rejections. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed but I am starting to lose hope. Don’t forget, this thread is only a small number of the applicant pool. I’m sure there were a lot more acceptances that we don’t see on here or on Twitter.
