<p>It’s an indicator, but no certainty at all. It’s just a test that Simon Baron Cohen constructed - and it has its associated flaws. Baron Cohen thinks it’s pretty effective since a very large percentage of those diagnosed with AS have scores of 32+, whereas only 2% of the population has a score above that. That said, AS is a spectrum disorder, and people can have differing degrees of severity of it</p>
<p>All personality profiles are social constructions of some psychologist that may be accurate in describing people to certain extents - and correlate with certain behavioral outcomes. They can help explain personality and can help identify people with similar personality traits but they cannot be definitive by any means.</p>
