Systemizing/Empathy/Autism Quotient Tests
Here:

http://glennrowe.net/BaronCohen/MaleFemale.asp

27 on the autism one.
44 on the systemizing one. btw systemizing isn’t a word.
28 on the empaty one.
27 on the mind one.
Although I may have hurried on them.

I scored 14 on the Empathy and 32 on the systemizing…

systemizing: 13
empathy: 42
autism: 18
mind: 27

When I saw BaronCohen in the URL, I thought Borat wrote the test…:p

Systemizing: 19
Autism: 9 (Guess I’m not Autistic)
Empathy: 46 (Average Woman)
Eyes/Mind: 28 (That one was pretty hard)

I only took two:

15 on empathy and 52 on systemizing. It’s kind of scaring me.

60 on systemizing (whooo I’m a machine), 23 empathy, and 29 autism

EDIT: took the mind eyes one, got a 31.

Systemizing: 57 (and I’m a girl…hah, wow)
Autism: 17 (okay, this one is average)
Empathy: 53 (more than average female)
Eyes/Mind: 33 (“very accurate”)

I need to take eyes and mind. Maybe when it is not 4:12 am :D

Systemizing: 19 (low)
Empathy: 44 (average)
Autism: 14 (average)
Mind in the Eyes: 28

Systemizing: 45
Empathy: 11
Autism: 48

Systemizing: 78 (“three times as many people with Asperger Syndrome score in this range, compared to typical men, and almost no women score in this range”) :eek:
Empathy: 56 (Average)
Autism: 34 (most people with Asperger Syndrome or high-functioning autism score about 35)
Reading the mind in eyes: 36 (If you scored over 30, you are very accurate at decoding a person’s facial expressions around their eyes.)

Interesting results.

Half of my results say that I have qualities of an autistic, yet the other half say the exact opposite [empathy and reading]. I think I just got lucky on the Mind Eyes one. I found it quite difficult.

Systemizing: 43
Empathy: 28
Autism: 20
Mind Eyes: 30

Systemizing: 45 (getting into Asperger’s range here…)
Empathy: 13
Autism: 21

Hmm…these are interesting tests.

Haha–just reading the top of the page and it says that “The female brain is predominantly hard-wired for empathy. The male brain is predominantly hard-wired for understanding and building systems.” Very contrary to my results.

I think many people on here have tendency to develop Aspergers.

Systemizing= 50
Empathy= 61
Autism= 14
Eyes= 32 (i’m most happy about this score :))

The students in Cambridge University did not differ from the randomly
selected control group, but scientists (including mathematicians) scored significantly
higher than both humanities and social sciences students, confirming an earlier study that
autistic conditions are associated with scientific skills. Within the sciences,
mathematicians scored highest. This was replicated in Group 4, the Mathematics
Olympiad winners scoring significantly higher than the male Cambridge humanities
students. 6% of the student sample scored 32+ on the AQ. On interview, 11 out of 11 of
these met 3 or more DSM-IV criteria for AS/HFA, and all were studying
sciences/mathematics, and 7 of the 11 met threshold on these criteria.

IK, do you think a high score on the AQ might be an indicator of having some degree of autism or Asperger’s Syndrome?
