Completely disagree some of the comments above about Jasmine Harper. She is very talented and delightful to watch. For ME she brings it every time she dances. I have also thought Amy was strong from the start, but I would be very happy if Jasmine won as well. Do we know if they are only naming one dancer?

Amy is in a class by herself. Of the 4 remaining dancers, she is the only one who did not falter in the ballroom routines. If the show did not have to have a female AND male finalist it would be Amy and Jasmine but, since they do, it will be Amy and Fik-Shun, IMO.

If any of you did not see Amy’s contemporary routine with Travis Wall (week before last?), it will blow your mind!

I was disappointed in the last dance as well. Seemed really silly to me.

Amy has been my favorite all along this season. Jasmine just jumped up, though, for me in the last week or so. But again, I will be happy to see either girl win. Aaron is an amazing dancer as well and it’s very cool to see a tapper in the final 4. But Fik-shun is just too adorable and fun to watch for words. His solos have been consistently excellent, IMO, and he has done remarkably well with all the technical stuff thrown at him and all the partnering, particularly considering he is NOT a big guy!!

Jasmine lost me when she chose hip hop as her dance…too calculated for my taste. And I thought Comfort danced the pants off her but the judges all said she was great.

I agree with missypie on Jasmine’s choice to dance hip-hop. Was she concerned about comparisons to Amy if they both danced contemporary? I thought she made a big mistake.

And Gabby Douglas is adorable, but useless as a guest judge. Everyone was “amazing”, “awesome” or “wow, just wow”. She had nothing constructive to offer. I didn’t really expect her to, but then what was the point of having her as a guest judge?

She wasn’t the most useless judge of the season though. That award goes to Carly Rae Jepsun. But Gabby has, I’m sure, taken lots of ballet and she definitely should have been able to come up with something besides “amazing.”

They should just make Jesse Tyler Ferguson the permanent guest judge – at least he’s entertaining – with occasional appearances by Christina Applegate who appears to have quite a bit of dance knowledge.

Did you watch the last season of DWTS? It stunned me that Aly Raisman, the winner of the Olympic gold medal in floor exercise, confessed that she didn’t know how to count - that was the hard thing for her, finding the beat and counting while dancing to the music. I would have thought that she would have been doing that since she was three.

I like it when the guest judges are folks who actually hire dancers (e.g. Adam Shankman and Kenny Ortega.)

I love Jesse but can’t stand Christina!! Had to laugh when my D said last night,“what’s Paula Abdul doing on here as a judge?!” She sees her as a singer cause of American Idol nit a dancer !

My favorite guest judge was Anna Kendrick. I agree, ONLY have “inner circle” guest judges that work in dance for next season. I think it makes Nigel feel more important (than he already feels with that super-inflated ego of his!) when he is sitting with celebrities. Thank you Mary Murphy, for dialing down that obnoxious “shriek” of yours this season.

I know! And the hot tamale train schedule got cut waaay back this season. I kinda miss them both. I fear this amounts to clinical depression for the woman. She did come to tears an awful lot

I’d bet my bottom dollar that Jasmine and Fikshun win–but this show’s winners have been a disappointment to me so many times (let’s not even discuss Sabra defeating Danny–the subject makes me feel stabby), that I’m already over it for this season. The only suspense for me now is whether Cat will look stunning or horrific at the finale. She certainly ran the gamut this summer.

abasket, true, Paul Abdul wasn’t any better at dance analysis than Gabby was.

missypie, I don’t watch DWTS, so I wasn’t aware of Ally’s lack of dance. I thought ballet was an integral part of gymnasts’ training. Learn something new every day.
