am I the only person that gets sick after I eat ANYTHING from Taco Bell??..I swear there’s something in that crap that makes me throw up…but I end up eating it anyway because it’s the only place open late at night…

I just ate the “Grilled Stuffed Burrito” and I’m about to die

I know exactly how you feel. I HATE HATE HATE Taco Hell. I hate McD’s, too. If I get late night food, it’s Chinese or Wendy’s or something from QuikTrip.

I don’t eat fast food. Ever. Grooooss. I can’t even eat salads from places like Wendy’s and crap because just a salad has 600+ calories. There’s a problem there…

Taco Bell is good. It has some good food. But it’s kind of bad to eat there always. McDonalds is not the place for vegans or non-beef eaters. They have like nothing on their menu for them. Also for burgers only the big mac and spicy chicken are good.

maybe if you’re ■■■■■■■■ and decide to put some full fat ranch dressing all over it and fried chicken strips.

if you put salad dressing all over ANYTHING it will hit crazy calorie ranges.

Fast food can be pretty healthy. If you get anything fresco style at Taco Bell it cuts down on calories, you sacrifice cheese and sour cream but you cut down on a large amount of calories. If you opt for chicken over beef the calories are cut down even more to where it’s pretty healthy. The tortilla will have a good amount of calories and carbs but that only matters if you watch your carbs closely.

at McDonalds, get things without the sauces and cheese and calories are cut down again. Don’t eat french fries.

Wendys – get the grilled chicken sandwich, no fatty mayo, no cheese, switch out the french fries for a chili or side salad, get a diet coke. you’re set.

You want pizza? Take off half the cheese or get thin crust, it’ll be OK but not great. Pizza really isn’t healthy by design. Pizza Hut actually sells a healthy pizza where they double the sauce and put half the amount of cheese, and only offer certain healthy toppings (No pepperoni).

Just using COMMON SENSE can make fast food healthier for you. It’s just that most people don’t choose to do this.

It’s not the fast food restaurant’s fault that you can’t make healthy decisions.

The stats I were looking at were for some grilled chicken salad without salad dressing. Can’t remember which place it was for. I guess they also put a ton of bacon bits (which I don’t eat anyway) and cheese and croutons in with the salad so you can’t take it out.

with their chicken caesar salad, the dressing alone is 250 calories, take out that dressing, sub in honey mustard or another low fat dressing and you’re in the clear.

you can even actually keep the cheese and croutons and still be okay.

fast food definitely isn’t chosen for health concerns, let’s not pretend it is.

However, Taco Bell tastes good and is not exactly ‘toxic’ like op makes it out to be. If you get sick every time you eat there, it’s probably the placebo effect, a.k.a, the food is fine but you think there’s something wrong so your stomach gets upset.
