Taco Bell *vomit*

“you ignored the arguments and just said something almost completely unrelated.”

Perhaps I agree with your arguments with regards to the inability to make sushi and peking duck. If one agrees with something, you normally don’t argue it(at least that is what we do in the United States)

Great, fine…I agree with some of your contentions that you stated. Although I find restaurant food to be extremely over-inflated with regards to price.

“You know what else are rip offs? Markets! Why go buy stuff at markets, when you can just grow food at home!”

Actually, I disagree. If I were to buy weekly groceries at a market for say $100.00, I would still be much better off than paying fifty dollars for one meal at a feeding trough of a restaurant!

Ok, great! At restaurants, we all get to sit together and talk with friends, right? In order to go to a restaurant, first you have to call your friend, then dress up if it is an elegant diner, then get into the car and spend PRECIOUS gas on driving to the establishment, oh and don’t forget reservations! Sounds like a lot of trouble either way you slice it, friend! I guess you could go to Mcdonalds or Carls Jr. That would be easy!

Justinian,

You must be a real hit with the ladies. I can just see you now, saying to your future fiance, “Honey, I love you so much, I refuse to buy you a ring because it’s a waste of money! Instead, I made you this friendship bracelet! It’s cheaper!”

Don’t confuse your method of argumentation with “what we do in the United States.” In my 21 years of living in the US, I have yet to meet someone who’s as willing to overlook clearly important arguments as you are.

Justinian, learn how to read. Please, read that sentence again. One more time.

Who needs friends anyway?

What isn’t “over-inflated?” I mean, why buy a car, when you can just ride a bicycle? Better yet, instead of a bicycle, get a unicycle (two wheels are overrated, anyway.)

Justinian, there are times in life where you just have to enjoy luxuries…

“Justinian, learn how to read. Please, read that sentence again. One more time.”

I don’t sense any errors in my sentence. Please, lets not manifest this into a Grammarians lounge. If you continue, I will surely correct your sentences which by the way could use some editing.

"ou must be a real hit with the ladies. I can just see you now, saying to your future fiance, “Honey, I love you so much, I refuse to buy you a ring because it’s a waste of money! Instead, I made you this friendship bracelet! It’s cheaper!”

Although ad hominen in nature, I couldn’t help but to laugh about that one.

" have yet to meet someone who’s as willing to overlook clearly important arguments as you are."

What arguments have I overlooked? My original argument was that restaurants are overpriced. Now, you argue about me being cheap. Wow, talk about a meandering argument. I like to argue American style, or better yet a universal style.

Must…not…e-strangle…Justinian.

Learn how to READ. READ. READ. Not learn how to “write.” You missed the very clear sarcasm in the post you responded to.

 That’s nice. I never claimed that my grammar was perfect.

The fact that restaurants offer you a different kind of value. The value of “luxury.” The value of “specialization.” The value of “atmosphere.” You don’t go to a restaurant just for the food itself. You go because it’s nice to sit down, be pampered, and not have to worry about cooking.

Plus, I like Chinese food. I don’t know how to make Chinese food. I don’t have a Chinese market by me. So I go to Chinese restaurants. In that sense, it’s not a ripoff. In fact, considering that they’re offering me exactly what I want, they’re a damn good value.

I love taco bell. I try to eat it twice a week. I go for the cheesy gordita crunches. I love them to death. Just talking about taco bell is seriously making me consider driving the 20 minutes to go get some. thanks guys.

The only thing I can eat at Taco Bell is nachos.

Wow, only on CC will people get into a debate about whether eating out is justified or not.

Taco Bel is dog food… it’s so gross. Then again I only like authentic Mexican cooking. Olive Garden is like a warmed up frozen dinner, it’s so gross.

I find that spending extra money on food is really worthwhile… good food = good times!

Good times can come at the supper table at home, IMO. It is more quiet, private, and most importantly CHEAP, CHEAP, CHEAP! Instead of eating at gross supper establishments, I am saving my dinero for a laptop computer. HUZZAH!
