I plan on taking AP Bio or dual enrollment biology at the same time. Earth Science Honors is geared towards 9th and 10th graders, but is open to grades 9-12 at my school. I want to take this course because I have an interest in earth science and oceanography (not planning on majoring in either subjects though), but I’m worried that colleges will look down upon taking this course as a junior.
Assuming you will have at least a year each of bio, chem, and physics, then no, colleges will not care if you choose a course that interests you.
If you treat it as an elective and not a science, I don’t see the problem.
You may find it an issue to schedule as it is designed around 9-10th graders schedules
