So I’m confused how do we know all full admits are done.
My sons school has not heard anything and when he emailed admissions they said they are still in process Nd would know no later than March 15

i received full admission to cstat back in the january review wave and i only had a 1220 on the sat so don’t lose hope y’all!

@Thelma2 My daughter was accepted into Blinn Team today!
Date applied: July 31
1st and 2nd choice major: Biology, Political Science
Rank: 14.5%
SAT: 1290
ACT: 28
Four years of Marching and Concert Band, Key Club, NHS, over 100 hours of community service, two LOR: one from school counselor, one from AP teacher.

There are so many with similar stats. I am amazed at all of the talented kids out there. Please keep the faith and know that you have so much to be proud of. I’m rooting for all of those waiting to hear.

@Peanie5619 thank you for sharing! Needed a little boost tonight.

@medgal thanks for posting, what was your class rank?

I was right outside of the top 10% i was ranked 50/475 so about top 10.6% or so

@SMcC07

@Jasperlady My son’s stats are almost identical to yours, OOS, varsity water polo, slightly higher SAT, and he received a Blinn TEAM offer this morning. Geosciences major. Based on what I’ve read today on this site it seems likely that more Blinn Team offers are coming. With the SAT/ACT scores I’m seeing posted for those offered Blinn Team today, I’m guessing Blinn College must have the highest incoming student SAT/ACT averages for a two-year school in the country!

Do you think that more Blinn TEAM offers will come out tomorrow or is that the final wave?

@Thelma2 my daughter applied at the end of September, her transcripts were accepted 10/2 and her letter of rec was sent end of November. Her major was BIMS, second choice Health.

Congrats on the offer. Fingers crossed I’ll get Blinn!

This might seem dumb to ask but if I received an offer for Blinn Team today, does that mean i didnt qualify for full admission to TAMU?

If you are offered Blinn-TEAM it does NOT mean that you were not qualified for Full TAMU Admissions, it means that TAMU ran out of Full Admission SEATS. It means that TAMU Admissions thinks that you are well qualified, well prepared and will THRIVE at TAMU, and they REALLY want you to be an Aggie. There are just not enough full admission seats available on the TAMU campus for all of the well qualified applicants who want to be Aggies.

Think about it, there are probably close to 50,000 + applications for Freshman Fall 2019. There is no way to admit everyone who is qualified. Receiving an offer for Blinn-TEAM is a great thing. The only difference between full admit and Blinn-TEAM is that you can’t play an NCAA sport and you have to take some classes at the Rellis facility and some classes on the TAMU campus. EVERYTHING ELSE IS THE SAME.

The only people who think that a Blinn-TEAM offer is a ā€œless thanā€ offer are not in AGGIELAND and don’t have all of the info. The Blinn-TEAM of today and the most recent past few years is NOT the Blinn-TEAM of many years ago. A LONG time ago there were other limitations, but it isn’t like that any longer.
