@rdhdstpchld Once the offers are filled up, he will lose out on the academy. This is I think the 3rd round of Team admits… so we’re getting down to the wire. Just a heads up.

It’s a commitment only once you sign up for NSC.And even then, you don’t lose anything if you change your mind.
@rdhdstpchld last week my son received an offer asking if he would consider Blinn TEAM. He said yes. Then the next day a formal offer came through which gives us until May 1 to decide or lose spot.

My daughter applied for psych also and hasn’t heard. Top 16% SAT 1310 ACT 28 lots of leadership and volunteering. I hope you hear something soon!
I also haven’t heard of any psych acceptances at all in here that I remember.
My daughter received her Blinn team offer on AIS. There are 3 buttons for consideration: yes, please consider me; maybe, I need time to consider the offer; no, I’m not interested. Is this a definite offer for the Blinn TEAM or just a “we will consider you for TEAM?” 
@KKSKKW It’s an offer… basically saying this is the best they can offer your student. Once you click yes, then they review it once more than hit the accept button if there’s still room. It’s pretty much a formality at this point, but if it fills up then it’s gone.So if interested… click yes! And congrats!!!
@kkskkw The longer you wait to click yes for consideration the greater the chance TEAM fills up and you lose the option. If you click “yes” now you should receive a formal offer within a day or so and you have until May 1 to decide. At least that was my son’s experience last week. good luck!

@Cmringvelski - Texas resident. My step sister has similar stats to mine and applied just after me but is still waiting.
My daughter was admitted on Jan 11 and Visualization was full at that time. She had to choose another major.
She is now enrolled in TEAB

@IT22379 “Texas resident that TAMU couldn’t put that as marker on his application. UT just asked me to fill out residency form and it came back 2 weeks later as he is now a Texas Resident on his application.”
My kids applied as OOS while we are establishing residency too (which will be May 19), as academic admits (applies to OOS) both were admitted to TAMU eng in Sept '18 and assigned instate on admission, it is interesting that UT would change that status for you as applicants though, there was no luck here but we did never ask for anything beyond the explanation in the application. As UT isn't going to admit our kids to engineering anyway LOL, I assume they have little to lose? My understanding is that residency reclassification only applies after you complete the year.

@drm309 thank you for that! I went ahead and checked “yes” and figure I haven’t written any checks yet so pfft if he has to reneg. I’m a firm believer that in the end, having a college degree is the important part. Where it’s from is cool for finding people you share a history with but I’ve only been asked 2 or 3 times in my adult life and it was to see what part of the country I was from. So there’s that.
can someone shed some light when I login to my sons AIS the top right says TAMU Galveston and its Blue but when I I login to the CAS system its TAMU maroon and says still in review does that mean he got Galveston? He didn’t receive any emails from TAMU to check his status
LOL nevermind I answered my own question i called Galveston admissions and they do not have his information they said Galveston is primarily Engineering.
I see that the school of Engineering has received offers today. Anyone from the school of business?
