So sad to hear psa offers are going out. Lots of amazing students. But hereās the thingā¦ decisions by tamu do not change how awesome these students are or how successful they will be. Praise Jesus for that.

At this point since PSAs are going out, do we expect any more Blinn TEAM offers, gateway, or full admission? Iām just really really losing hope since itās this late in the game. I know that there are lots of people still in review at my school so that gives me some hopeā¦ It just seems a bit cruel for A&M to make students wait this long just to get denied or PSA
I was wondering, a few days ago I was offered the PSA, but I was wondering if it is worth it to go this route or not? Would maintaining that 3.0 gpa be difficult, or should I rather instead just apply somewhere else? Would love to try going this route because I had been really wanting to go to tamu but im just a little unsureā¦
@jimmy567807 It really just depends on what youāre willing to do. Iāve fully considered that I might not be able to get full acceptance, and I just might be offered PSA (hopefully!) to McAllen. If anything, itās a chance to start off your college career strong since you would mainly be focused on classes rather than parties or anything like that. I know Iāll be excited to go to McAllen if Iām denied from College Station, because itās just a chance to try something new, and be in a new environment. It really depends on you!
@luckyaggie PSA and McAllen are not the same thing. An offer to McAllen is full admit to TAMU but you spend your first year in McAllen. PSA is an offer to attend a TAMU System school such as TAMU Corpus Christi for a year and if you achieve the required GPA you are offered admission to TAMU in CS.
Good morning! Does anyone on this fab forum (parents of prospective A&M students or amongst student peer groups) know of any Gateway offers that have been extended to them ? Perhaps I just missed this āwaveā if itās already happenedā¦ I understand itās considerably smaller numbers that are offered this pathway.
@Scotsfi I just checked AIS and still in review. I did read that some people got PSA last night but no Gateway. It starting to look bleaker and bleaker with PSA starting to come out and that is what looks like what we are gonna get.
Really thought today would be the day but still nothing.
@mrsqster you would think if they decided to give you PSA or Denials that they would just announce it. That is what is killing me right now just the uncertainty but I guess this is what getting college admissions is all about.
If McAllen students are considered āfully admitted aggiesā then do they get the A&M acceptance banner?
My daughter is still in review. Not sure what that means at this point with PSA going out to others. She really just wants a decision one way or another. Really hope this is the week we find out. 6 months since she applied.
Also still in review. My kiddo is trying to stay positive. She has had a couple friends in the last couple weeks get offered Blinn Team. Both have lower GPA/SAT than her by quite a bit (100+ points on SAT) and far less ECs. Just donāt even know what to think at this point.
Trying to stay positive as well because she is, and just waiting for something to happen!
