TAMU FALL 2020 TRANSFER ADMISSIONS

@JaceyK Okay thank you for that! Is it a good thing that I can look at my transfer audit too, or what? I dont know what all of this means lol.

@alyssa0liver All the transfer audit means is that they have processed your transcripts, plugged in the credits you have, and now they can see if you have all the required courses in place (or in progress, even). Oh and adjusted GPA for courses that are transferable. Just have to wait for them to make a decision - like @aggiemomhelp said, college of Agriculture takes forever - my daughter transferred Spring 2019 - was one of the very last to get accepted for transfer.

I got my deferral for spring grades yesterday for BS Economics. The letter states that only “competitive” applicants get deferred. Does this mean that if I finish this semester strong do I have a pretty good shot of being accepted come June?

@JaceyK is the college of agriculture very competitive? My overall GPA is a 3.65. Is that good enough?

@alyssa0liver If you have the required coursework for the major you’re applying for, I think you have a good chance but I am not the end-all-know-all! Hang tight - hopefully you will know soon!

@TransferAg16 do you know when your transfer audit was? I’m waiting to hear back for BS Econ too.

@Brisket12 My son is waiting on Econ too.
Applied 1/7
Audit received 1/29

I JUST GOT ACCEPTED!!!

@aggiehopeful1999 Congrats!! You’re communications correct? When did you get your Transfer Audit? My daughter is also communications and waiting, so just wondering how long it took from Transfer Audit to acceptance

Normally, how long does it take for you to receive your transfer audit once your application is "My Application is Complete and In Review?

@HopingtobeAggieMom Yes ma’am I’m communications! I got my transfer audit on 2/11/20.

@macarenagarza It took about a month for me to get my transfer audit after I submitted my application.

Howdy. I was just wondering, has anyone has heard back from the Agriculture College? I applied 1/12/2020, transcripts were received 1/21/2020, and then processed on 2/10/2020; I also received my transfer audit on 2/18/2020, but it still says “under review” in AIS and my Howdy portal (no 6 tabs). Reading through some of the threads, I notice that people have primarily heard back from the Engineering college, Liberal Arts college, and Mays; so, I am beginning to wonder if it is just the Agricultural school that takes forever…

My Daughter is in the same boat,
Agricultural Communication
Applied 01/11
Transfer Audit 02/07
Still in Review

@mrw5712 @Cattleworld I am right there with yall! Got my transfer audit 2/13 so I am just waiting now. I think they said that the ag college is notorious for being slow so I don’t know how much longer we will have to wait.

My daughter just got her Howdy Account Activated with 3 tabs!! History Major who applied on 2/19

Good luck. Hopefully short wait for decision.

@AggieMomhelp does admissions let you know stuff during the weekend or do they only let people know if they are admitted or not on the weekdays?

Updates are done during the week. If accepted, you’ll get 6 tabs on howdy. If your first choice denies you then you’ll see your second choice major move to the #1 spot.

Those are the 2 big changes you’ll see as a transfer.

My daughter is showing 6 Tabs this morning - Home; Applicant; My Record; My Finances; Student Life; and My Howdy.

AIS & Manage Applications still show she’s “In Review” - but the 6 Tabs is still a good sign correct?
