TAMU FALL 2020 TRANSFER ADMISSIONS

You will get classes and you will be fine. I promise. My daughter transferred spring semester and registered 5 days before school started. No problem.

Classes will continue to open up as summer progresses. And then again in August during add drop as well as right before semester starts. It all works out.

Did your daughter ever get her desired time slots and professors? I got all the classes I need during my NSC but they’re so spread out with early morning and night classes. Just wondering if spots will open up during summer and add drop.

Yes, if I recall correctly. It’s been a few years though. But you will never have the perfect schedule to start. Just gotta keep looking and tweaking beginning in August when it opens up to everyone. You’ll make the best with what you got. If it’s spread out, then bam, study and eat time. If close together, then you hustle to class and eat when you can.

I promise it all works out.

Has anyone who applied for the Electrical Engineering program as a transfer, been accepted yet?

How long is it taking them to process everyone’s transcripts? It shows they received mine 5/19, but there is still a red X by it.

I Am confused, mine doesn’t even show an X. All it shows is my transcript under the received documents tab. Is there anything else I have to do? Or is it just like that for somepeople?

Does anyone know when transfer students usually hear back at the latest?I sent my final transcript on may 15th and am an incoming sophomore electrical engineering transfer student.

Adding on to my previous comment, I have a 4.0 with all the minimum required courses and credits completed.

Logged into AIS yesterday and my transfer audit had been processed. 5/31. Thought I would send an update for anyone that may have been waiting on a transfer audit. Just a little more waiting now…

College of Agriculture. Rangeland and Ecology program.
2.54 GPA
53 hours.

Has anyone who was deferred for spring grade review heard back yet? I’m a psychology major, I just submitted my final transcript. Also, how do we know that they’ve received it?

For me, my spring transcript showed up under the “Received” Documents tab. My transcript was marked as received by May 15th. I haven’t heard anything back, and it hasn’t shown up under the App Status page, with an X? So… I guess it still hasn’t been processed or what?

My major is Political Science btw, and I was auto-denied for not having enough credits back in February, but was offered to send in my spring transcript to be reviewed.

@nazneena I’m a psychology major as well who was deferred for spring grades. I sent my transcript in May 18th and it’s under the “My document/Received” tab in AIS. BUT I still have a huge X on my “final trans from Blinn”. I still haven’t received transfer audit either

I turned in my grades May 19th, got my transfer audit may 31st. And I woke up this morning and had 6 tabs!

Congratulations!!! @wsiler44

So sad today. I finished this semester with 4.0 GPA and complete the required course for my major. However, my school postponed sending my transcript last week, and I just figured out that they just declined my 1st choice :frowning:

@user_775076 How did you figure out that? That they declined your first choice?

My 2nd choice pop up and my 1st choice disappeared

What was your first choice, and what’s your second choice?

I just talked to an admissions advisor and she said the AIS would be updated as each application is reviewed. And that as long as the transcript is received before the 8th we will be reviewed.

@Tristan23 Whats your major?
