TAMU Holistic review candidates Class of 2022

No change! :frowning:

nothing…

No change.
Son’s friend got Gateway yesterday.
Female, good student with lots of ECs. Not sure what major she was applying for.

No change…snow day #2 and no change means my son’s chore for the day is to take another looks at his backup options and determine what we need to do depending on the answer from TAMU

I think the rolling admissions thing has made us all batty! If anyone sees any change today please let us know!!!

Still nothing …

My Howdy portal updated to six tabs this morning and in AIS my major switched from Nutrition to Food System Industry Management and the Site Code changed to McAllen. I am worried I am not considered for College Station…what does this mean?

@2022student That is news to me. Never heard of that before. I did find this http://riograndeguardian.com/wootton-am-higher-education-center-dedication-slated-for-august/

The initial article dated Feb 18, 2018 and it reads like one must apply directly and that it is not an admissions decision.

Give it some time and see if your Howdy changes again. What shows up on AIS is more definite.

For the no changers…whats your major? Maybe reaching at straws trying correlate decisions and majors. We are bio choice 1. Forensics choice 2

@mamma3g 1st Choice: Aerospace Enginnering | 2nd Choice: Political Sci. What’s good is that I’m good with either or. Praying that I can be in CS though.

construction science, economics

@2022student That sounds like the higher education center in mcallen. https://admissions.tamu.edu/HECM this website shows everything.

  1. Mechanical Engineering 2. Civil engineering

@mamma3g 1) Molecular and Cell Biology 2) Public Health

  1. Agricultural Economics. 2. Economics

Modern Languages - Russian first choice
English - Second Choice

@Thelma2 @Ross2729 I was hoping to at least get Blinn-team in CS as nutrition major then apply to Mays Business second year, as I changed my mind recently regarding my career. I’ll have to wait and see the final decision in AIS

  1. Mechanical Engineering 2. Electrical Engineering

1: allied health 2: bio

I want to pursue business as well. My older brother at A&M told me to apply to galveston and then transfer with my major. I haven’t received a decision yet, but I’m hoping to get gateway or blinn-team.
