@Ross2729 @2022student The program at McAllen reads that it is a program one applies to directly rather than an admissions decision.
@2022student Maybe if you called admissions they could tell you more, like if this is a new type of admissions decision.

@2022student @Thelma2 I don’t know much about the program, I only posted what it sounded like. I hope I didn’t offend anyone.
Anyone else get invited to a National Recruitment Parent Program event in March? It’s March 18-20, and A&M is paying for hotel accommodations for a student and their parent(s).
@2022student I just “chatted” with Joseph. Here is the conversation.
Thelma Says: Is the center for higher education in McAllen an admissions decision from A&M or is it strictly a program one must apply to directly?
Joseph says: You can apply directly to McAllen, but TAMU College Station also make offers there as well especially for people who have indicated they want that option.
Thelma Says: So, if an applicant applies to a major or the major changes to their second choice major, and did not indicate on apply TX that they indicated the McAllen campus, A&M can offer them the McAllen campus instead of the College Station campus, much like they do with other admissions decisions to Gateway, Blinn Team, or the engineering academies at Blinn Byan and McAllen?
