Talked with “Steve” on the chat. He said that we should all be expecting a final decision by March, and that there were over 43,000 applicants for the C/O 22.
Oh dear.
I think he uses copy and paste. He gave me that reply once. :))

Has anyone asked Steve if there are updates throughout the day or just overnight??

As well, my son got the “McAllen” location change today. I spoke to the prospective student center in McAllen. She said this would be considered a full offer for students…Aggie ring…and such, just like an offer to Galveston would be considered a full admit decision. She suggested the class sizes would be extremely small. However, I do not like the idea that there are no dorms or college life. I asked if there was a way to appeal the decision…no.
She did mention that decisions are still rolling and it was “possible” that it could change back to CS.
As well, I talked to Trish in admissions in McAllen…very helpful and informative.
@Mammabear1 Thank You for that information! With this being a new facility and a new admissions decision option, there will be soooo many questions about the program. Please feel free to share anything and everything you learn about the program. In fact, I will start a thread for it, so the info does not get buried in this thread and will be searchable for next year’s applicants.

My AIS still says AERO-CS. Hopefully it means I might stay on that course for a decision.
Our AIS hasn’t changed at all in quite a while and still has College Station or “INST - CS”. My PC has 02-02-18 and 51a at the bottom. My phone shows 01-10-2018 and 75a at the bottom. It must be that the mobile version of Howdy updates the site at different times. (Just the general website - not the individuals’. pages.)

@LeStaphSergeant I think we have determined that the codes don’t have meaning. Mine have changed repeatedly since I started paying attention to them. Since Jan 1st from 02-02-18 to 01-08-18 to 01-10-18 and codes from 2a to 51a to 75a. I have no clue as to their significance. Sorry!
Just chatted with Joseph, I asked if updates to Howdy are in the evenings or throughout the day. He said they can be anytime. Hopeful to be done by month end but could go into March.
@babymomma Chatted with “Steve” earlier. He said that AIS and Howdy usually update over night with work completed the prior day.
