I have been following along and waiting patiently. I thought I would jump in join in with others that are waiting for an answer. My son is waiting and ready to accept whatever decision is made. It is beyond him at this point. Just praying for the best outcome for him.

I think i would feel better if the dates were precise. Admissions decision are made between “ x and x”.
My friend just got accepted into Engineering. He showed me the e-mail housing had sent him.
I hope god is good this week, at least BlinnTEAM or TEAB! Anything that can get me out of this state! 
I just called the Arlington Regional Student Center and they confirmed that all decisions would be out by this Thursday, March 1st. I then called the Admissions office in College Station, the receptionist said “Mid-March” so I asked to speak to an Admissions Counselor. Savannah confirmed that all decisions would be sent by March 1st. I was told that if they are loaded in the morning, the decisions may not show up until after 5:00pm. I also asked about the tabs on Howdy. She said that the only official way to know the decision is when we see something on the AIS page. Good luck to everyone waiting so patiently!

@MomHopesNxtGenAg There have been a handful of McAllen majors but only 1 with major and stats unless I missed one. Only one with stats is @2022student Please holler at me if I did in fact miss someone.

Here is the earliest indication of acceptance that people here have found…
Log onto Howdy (howdy.tamu.edu). Are there six main tabs? Applicant has been accepted. Click on the Applicant tab, and click on the Manage Applications link. There are a lot of strange codes that can show up there for the major, so please inquire with the full major designation if there is any uncertainty. This forum has had to decipher quite a few already, and @Thelma2 has a document which can decode them. I don’t believe that there’s been a case where 6 tabs showed up on Howdy and the applicant wasn’t offered the admission that is on the Howdy Applicant Tab Manage Applications screen.
It can take some time for AIS to officially update with “Accepted”-type language (on order of several days for my student, but just a day for other folks). This is AFTER the Howdy change to six tabs. The acceptance letter also didn’t show up for a couple days in the AIS Documents area. But the Howdy Applicant Tab Manage Applications major came through on the AIS main screen after that delay. At that point, the AIS page will also show next actions to take at that time, for example, register for NSC (New Student Conference).
@Thelma2 Of those mentioning McAllen acceptance so far, were these all to the Food Systems Industry Management major?
I believe some people have seen a major change happen, which tipped them off to acceptance coming. Other people could speak to this. Not everyone will need a major change prior to acceptance, so I am unfamiliar with this.
Does anyone know of rejection letters have already been sent out?
Anyone heard if we may get any news during the week prior to march1??
@MomHopesNxtGenAg I have 4 McAllen admissions listed. Only two have provided stats so far. Both were Ag but oe is Ag life Sci - Nutrition and the other Ag Economics.
My son’s major changed the night before he got 6 tabs in the morning. It was late too, like 9:00. Again, this would only change IF first major is full so it will not apply to everyone. Also, you could see TEAM or change to Galveston or even a term change to summer (for Gateway).
This is the week for good news!!
@babymomma March 1 seems to be the most consistent day mentioned. If it comes before then, it is a treat.
@aggieco22 No one on this forum has received any rejection. If letters have been mailed out, no one knows of anyone first hand account that has received one.
