@soccer19310 There are so many people I know still waiting to hear something. Why aren’t they just sending out rejections if they know they are rejections? That’s crazy! I am waiting until the end of the week and then signing my son up for orientation at his back up school!
I can’t believe that is true . I don’t think they have sent any PSA offers out yet, and while that is not an “admission” , it is also not considered a flat out rejection. They sent over 10,000 PSA offers last year. My son and many of his friends have heard nothing and I am sure they are not all going to receive rejections.

This whole process is so frustrating. Not one senior from my daughter’s high school has received a decision from A&M. It is a small private school, but 25% of the class is waiting for an answer. Our school doesn’t rank, so class rank was assigned by A&M. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason to the decisions that have gone out. I know 3 seniors from another high school that were offered full admission to UT Austin, but with A&M 2 were offered Blinn and 1 was offered Gateway. Needless to say they will all be attending UT Austin. Decisions that have been made should be sent out!
I can’t imagine they would send rejections before PSA.
Yes they said they are sending out PSA’s to their “sister schools” in mid-march and some rejections they said. Trust my I wanna get into A&M really bad, but that is very discouraging and definetely crushed my spirits. I’m going to sign up for my 2nd school orientation this week.
@txnjenn We’ve already put the OU deposit down and my daughter is signed up for orientation in April. I’m an Aggie, and I certainly like the distance and in state tuition of A&M, but will be perfectly happy if my daughter ends up at OU.
I find it really hard to believe that all that is left is psa. Psa is not hard to sort through being that what schools you’re offered to attend is simply based on your test score. If it’s taking this long they must be sorting through possibly more Blinn Team gateway and full admit offers. Aggiebound also tweeted saying there was more of those offers coming. It doesn’t make sense to keep tons of kids waiting for months just to send out psa and rejections. I’m just trying to stay positive and remain thinking that clearly they’re sorting through something big. Not just psa. Hopefully this wait will come to an end soon!!
I just think it’s sad that my Daughter has been accepted eagerly by 5 other universities and she is willing to forgo Rush, the on campus dorm experience, acceptance and is willing to do Jr. College - not even BlinnTEAM - just to live in College Station. Something just feels wrong.

@txnjenn we already put deposits down at Uark. Go razorbacks! Not gonna do cap at ut Austin dont want to move schools. More interested in being aggie over a longhorn!!! We already got spiritwear on order too lol. I We would feel

@mamma3g Uark is such an amazing school and campus! It ultimately ended up being my back up if I did not get into TAMU but it was my first choice for quite awhile. So gorgeous and I love how personal they are with prospective students! Also, a great nursing program and honors college. If you haven’t visited yet I highly suggest it! Safe to say Fayetteville is a place I still love and can’t wait to visit.

Today aggiebound on twitter answered 2 questions about admission: 1. TAMU will still be sending out offers of various types (ex. full admit, blinn TEAM, PSA, etc) over the next few days. 2. TAMU will continue to roll out admissions decisions over the next two weeks. There is still hope
My recommendation is to not call, chat or email admissions inquiring about timelines for decisions. They clearly do not have the correct talking points distributed which is causing all sorts of angst and worry. If you do call, don’t post anything as it will surely be contradicted within 10 minutes by another poster…

Nothing for me. I guess the rgv prospective center had the March 1st date wrong. I’m comfortable waiting since this has to be the last month.
Today was the plan but they were told to hold off on a big release by upper executives . Please see my post from earlier today
