TAMU PSA program feedback

Our daughter was offered the PSA program for Fall 24 at TAMU. She is an animal science major. Anyone have any feedback on their experience with this path? And does TAMU make any effort to connect kids who have chosen this path?

Does your student have other college acceptances?
Doesn’t appear Animal Science is a major offered thru PSA, so what will her new major be?
A&M won’t reach out to students in PSA-they’re students of another system school, until successfully completing PSA requirements to transfer into A&M.

You are correct about there not being an animal science major in PSA, but it seems they suggest you choose another ag path that the first year course requirements align with Animal Science. I was hoping that there would be some sort of “networking” for PSA students at whatever prospective school they choose to attend the first year. But, it seems like it will be up to them to find any other PSA students on their own.

No networking, it’s up to the student.
There is a Facebook page you can join, which might be helpful.

I know in the past corpus has had a separate section at new student conference for psa kiddos. They do find each other.
