has anyone received their tabs for mays?
@Aggie21 Not yet, we hoping the showed up last night, but it looks like we have a longer wait than we expected.
@Walker03 ok good, I got nervous when I looked this morning and they did not show up.
does anyone know how competitive liberal arts is/ psychology?
Hey everyone! Just wondering if anyone has heard back for the College of Education yet?
@kew025 I haven’t yet, but the people who I talked to have. They either got declined or deferred. I don’t know anyone who had received an acceptance letter though. I am so nervous because I haven’t heard back yet ??
@Walker03 since mays did not give out decsisions today, any guess on when they would send them?
@aggie21 No idea it could be any day now or it can be until April like the info @ExcGunnar got.
I applied 2/9 and got my audit on the 21st and I graduated top 10% of my class so I have automatic admission but I’m a transfer student into liberal arts. Anyone know when I should be hearing back??
I looked again at last year’s forum. Early competitive Mays applicants received their tabs on Feb 26th. Liberal arts got their tabs around the 8th unlike how late they got them this year. You’d think you could use previous years to figure out a general time we’d hear back, but I honestly I don’t know when we will. Admissions said that Mays students hear back in April, but I’ve seen the contrary for competitive applicants, so who knows lol.
I hope we all hear back soon because I know that the university I’m at now starts advising for fall 2019 right after spring break!
And I know everyone needs to start sorting out housing in Cstat soon!
Does anyone know if AP AB Calculus credit in high school is equivalent to Math 142?
@Pluto22 I haven’t heard anything either… SO nervous.
@cterracina What are your stats for psyc and have you completed all of the requirements in course work?
@hzoo111 You are the first transfer student I’ve seen with the automatic transfer status! No idea how quickly you find out though, but I would assume soon.
@AggieMomhelp @hzoo111 If you graduated in the top 10% of your class from a texas high school, you may qualify for automatic transfer admission, according to their transfer guide.
Automatic Transfer Admission through SB175
“To be automatically admitted via SB175, the applicant must have graduated in the top 10% of his or her high school graduating class from a Texas high school not more than 4 years prior to the semester for which the student is applying.”
I graduated in 2017 and was in the top 10% of my HS graduating class. I am a transfer sophomore student and they asked for my HS transcript.
@AggieMomhelp Yep. I’m not sure when I will hear back. I applied 2/9, had all documents processed and recoved by 2/19. I received my audit on 2/21. I’m hoping to hear back soon.
It seems as if AIS updates on Tuesdays and Thursdays from what I have read. Good luck to everyone!
@Pluto22 Hey what are your stats for the college of education?
