Tasp 2007

RSI has more Views per post than this thread GRrrr.

That is nothing but evidence of how few posts they have.

Way to make me feel better! High Five

haha :)

And ALSO, they are boring people who just lurk and never post, hence the high views/posts ratio.

For sure, and we are just little socialites living 10 minutes away from each other both ferociously studying Chemistry. Go figure :-P

I just wrote a totally “me” post to some freshman worrying about a 217 on the PSAT I will admit I feel sort of bad. He is afraid it will hinder is quest for the perfect application to Harvard. If one thing I show no tolerance for it’s for the ppl like that. Thats why I should stick to the TASP thread every one here is a little more rational and has a way to put things into perspective (quite refreshing!)

Ciao. Szia <—Learned Hungarian today.

hahaha. Comfort him by saying that I got 218 soph year, and then 240 this year. So there is hope yet!

(JUST KIDDINGGGG)

Hungarian? Awesome. What does szia mean?

Good Bye and Hello.

you say it like (see-ya)

^^^Your daily hungarian lesson

Sweet. Now I speakz teh hungarian. =D

TASP kids seem to be way more down to earth. However, I am freaking out about the consecutive 77, 76, 71 I’ve gotten on my spanish tests this past fortnight. How delightful, the language I hate gets its revenge…

Hola! Mi nombre es Inigo Montoya. Mataste mi padre. Prepas morir!

Interesante,no?

that movie’s just a little bit more amazing than the fact that I’m stuck in my house with no food cause my mom decided to take my car

grrr

damn snow

Good news, the 12+ inches of snow today prevented me from going to work.

What a shame, right?

NOT FAIR.

At boarding school, if the local county has a snow day, we get a jeans day…which means we get to wear jeans that day (a very rare privilege)

We’ve been getting these horrible little ice pellets today (and got a jeans day…damnit.) Not quite sleet, not quite hail, but enough to turn the roads and walkways into scary deathtraps.

Jeans day? Ouch. You really get the short end of that deal.

For us, it’s looking like a snow day tomorrow, too. None of our roads have been plowed. Oh, and all the interstates in my county are closed with state police blocking the on-ramps. Not good, right?

I’m PRAYING for a 6 day weekend.

As long as I get my SAT scores tomorrow, I don’t care. o_o;;;

looks like we’re coming up on 2 feet already today

no school tomorrow would be amazing
otherwise I’ll be looking forward to spending tomorrow night studying for 5 tests and writing an essay… :(

where you from polkahard?

I haven’t been around in a while…

Let me just point out that in the last…12 days, I have been at school once. Today is my 5th snow day and I had some conveniently scheduled events. However, I fear tomorrow will not be cancelled, and the plants/fungus test will be a go. Boo.

Nate, Northeastern PA–home of The Office!

I’d have to figure you’re in upstate NY somewhere?

Yeah Billy, we missed you. =D

NY for the win. <3

I found an amazing book in my school’s library about the origins of the Tudors, from the 13th century onward. I’m going to spend study hall reading it…I’ve already learned that the family started in about 1240 in Wales in the service of one of the Welsh princes. =O

NH actually,
snow’s still comin down

driving’s a blast though, i dont know what it is with me and controlled slides around corners, but it tends to freak the other cars out a bit, heh
too much fun

Argh. I’m semi-jealous. Georgia over here has seen not a single shred of snow… :(
