lol Q-cup yea. Your like I eat there twice a week, at least most of my asian friends do. Good Night Tako.

Also MV only 60% pssshhhh, thats diversity in a nutshell.
Saratoga is <1% black.

60%? That’s nothing. Lynbrook is 72% Asian lmao

I don’t though… I fit right in.

Whoa, that is indeed very asian.

My school is about 15-20% asian, 10% other minority, the rest is white and christian. We have a club called the Jew Crew here because there are so few jews…maybe five out of 200? I’m a member. <3

We got pants last year that said “Challah Back” on the butt. The year before was shirts with “06” and “Jewcy”. The year before was jackets that said “Just Jew It” on the back.

Hehehehe. o_o;;;

HAHAHA I love it :D

I like your wealth of ‘Jew Crew’ Apparel. XD

Me and this other girl attempted to start the BCAA (Black Cultural Awarness Association) It was a failed attempt to say the least, with a population of 5 African Americans, soon to be 4, our campus just doesn’t seem to be receptive to such a club. On the other hand our overwhelming Asian population of 50% has a mandarin and a cantonese club. No animosity exists however. Wishes for a fight

Our school is so ***ed up.
*Shakes head

So Lacrosse practice is in 2 hours, but Lauren can cover for me, who the heck would want to be outside right now. I think I’m just not gonna go. I already am missing Thursday and yesterday was cancelled. Screw lacrosse, any sport that requires me to carry a 6foot metal pole in the lightning is not conducive to my well being. I’m an intellectual, and sports are for people like Lauren. Who BTW can run any y’all to the ground. XD

lol, I dunno about the running. =P

Well, I do sports pretty intensively, even though I too am way more of an intellectual. I play varsity volleyball and I used to play for NYD (a state club) when I was younger.

I like volleyball as much as reading: that’s saying a lot.

Lol. I was sort of joking.

I actually love lacrosse, just my team is coached by 2 professionals both of which are 20y/o–hot shots, who need to chill their ego and get over themselves. The whole world doesn’t revolve around them, gasp. Not to mention they are indoor professional lacrosse players, and I play outdoor lacrosse. Huge difference.

W/e I’m at home.

I had to run in the rain today. Track practice :(

I need to find somebody’s phone number. Hum dee dum.

Rain is not my friend

I actually like the rain. I like to go outside and walk and get damp and hope to get sick. Except I never do.

Did you know…last last last weekend I spent more than 5 hours in the rain…in t-shirt and shorts. And I did not get sick. Not even a cough. Then I gorged myself on cookie dough the day before an in class essay. Again, I did not get sick. No salmonella. I had to go to school and take the essay. Why can’t I get sick? I haven’t missed a single day of school for illness reasons since like…5th grade. Absolutely terrible.

Ha, I’d say lucky, maybe. Sick sucks.

^^ me too. I think I have never actually taken a day out from school for being sick before. Well of course because I have been “sick.”

I love the rain too. There’s just something about it I love. Oh just not cold rain. That stuff sucks.

Wow, haven’t been on in a while…

Good luck to everyone on Friday. Just remember that not getting into TASP will not be the end of the world. You can always do something else just as exciting and fun.

This thread is getting insane…just take it easy you guys!

Friday? I thought it was March 5.

I took it easy and avoided this thread for a while, and my life was pure boredom. I actually did homework. I slept early. I felt incomplete. Then I came back, and realized that this thread completes my life. No, sorry, this thread IS my life.

There is no replacement for the pure joy and entertainment that I find in posting useless messages on an internet forum thread that will essentially have no or little impact on the whole of my life. The people I meet here, as well, are without a doubt my closest friends (considering that I have no friends in real life, it isn’t really all that hard).

At this rate, we’ll definitely reach 200 pages!

Hope everyone is doing well, and keeping those pre-interview-notification jitters at bay? chomps nails I CAN’T LIVE WITH THIS ANXIETY!

^^ haha, I never really posted in here till yesterday. I’ve been reading it forever though. The topics are so random; it’s more like a huge chat room than a thread for a prestigious summer program.

I can’t stand this. Everytime I want to respond to a previous post, someone else posts before mine is posted. IT ruins what I was planning to say. (No offense to anyone, I just had to get that out.)

Sorry, karen61990. I guess the world just hates you. It’s cool, the world hates me too. It’s not actually that bad, being hated by the world. At least this thread keeps my hopes up, as a shining beacon of light in this world of darkness. Don’t worry, the world only hates people for an average of 9.66 years at a time.

Reading this thread has revived my hunger for cookies.

Giantredlobster, I’m not sure if you were serious about the Mary Kate thin without throwing up comment. If you are, I faahncy a discussion with you. I have teenage girl weight issues, but atypical ones.

Speaking of random, my stomach hurts. My dance teacher gave us this killer abs combo yesterday for 10 minutes… but it hurts. Oowie.

You dance? =D

I dance too! I’m working on my splits and then I’m going to contact Cirque du Soleil to see if they need a minion…chambermaid…dancer…unicylist…anything. I wanna run away with the circus so badly.

So I watched a show today about bread. Yes, bread: making bread, and the quest to make a national bread of Japan. Wooo…
