They arent gonna give you a pop quiz on the books. Anyways whats the worse that could happen, you just decline to comment.
If you have put down any American classics or prominent titles just know the main themes/ideas. They arent going to be like, “On page 131 Sawyer says, ‘The river run north, but my heart runs south.’” In this passage what is he searching for in the south, if its symbolic of something whats the symbol.

It would be a question more like, do you agree or disagree with Mark Twains use of the word ■■■■■■■■■ in the book?
And even a question like that would come in lieu of a conversation on a similar topic.

^ Haha, specific passage references would be a nightmare… X_X

Harvard, I’m exactly the same way. I read and then I’m like “Ooh, excellent book,” and then all the details fly out of my head…it’s really quite inconvenient at times.

million$baby- how many books did you have on your list? What percentage were for school? what percentage were magazines and such? estimates are fine =)

what were they too. Were some of them obscure or were they well known.

I just got called by my interviewer. Luckily, I didn’t say anything stupid:
INTERVIEWER: Hello, may I speak to _____?
ME: Uh… I am here (or “this is he”, I can’t quite remember).
I was elated for 30 seconds, then nervous as all hell for five minutes, now I’m serene.
CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL!
The very fact that you applied shows that you are high quality, thoughtful, interesting students.

hmmmmm…the whole interviewer call thing makes me wonder…last night, i got called like 40 times by this number that i didn’t recognize and an area code different than any i’ve ever seen. i never answered cause i didn’t feel like it…i wonder…(probably not though, cause they probably would have left a message)

^ lmao. And no, I don’t think they limit like that. Last year there were two acceptees into the program from the SAME little high school in Missouri or someplace.
