Oh dear, uber. That googling incident made me LOL.

debaser17 was interviewed by MY interviewer. <3 I love how you have Cornell seminars acting like bookends.

haha yes, Corey. Hot, asian GIRLSSSSS. Not boys. grin

Butcherer = Person of the nobility, right? right? My love-bunny? UT? KL?

And karen? Do you know how much I envy your traveling ways right now?! spaz

Roam, don’t worry about it. They often go into other topics to see if they can get you out of your bubble and get you to think about new things or old things in new ways.

Cruise sounds cool. I’ve never been on one…maybe senior trip :D

Hmm I wonder if I get into TASP, if my parents would be willing to buy me Creative Suite CS3 Design Premium (~$1800). Probably not, seeing as they weren’t willing to spend money this summer for summer programs. Silly cheap parents who make a six figure salary. (I still haven’t told them that they’d have to pay for airfare…yikes!)

lol @ parents, tako. Mine are the same way.

However, if I get into one of the Cornell programs, they can just drive me up. New York for the win!

Speaking of which, my parents just bought an apartment in NYC! So now I’m a true bonafide New York kid. =3

My dad was so pleased I got an interview though, he let me buy a dress from J.Crew off-budget. (I have a seasonal budget, and it’s a real treat when I can get something not using that money.)

haha tako. good luck. if you wan’t to get cs3 really badly just download the trial from download.com. Then you can go to serialz.to (i think that’s the site) and they have the serial codes for a lot of programs. You may have to wait a while for it though =/ OH and i don’t know how good the site is with windows serial codes. I know they have them but they specialize on macs.

Oh another thing. My math teacher reminded me of you the otherday. He was alluding to all the big tech companies by saying their locations so randomly (you know how it is when you aren’t paying attention. You only hear the words that mean something to you) i heard cupertino, CA. All of a sudden I yelled out, omg jenny lives in cupertino! the whole class just looked at me like, who the hell is jenny? It was priceless.

Iris- I have a clothing budget too!! cept it’s not seasonal. It’s weekly. still…that seems very nice! my parents didn’t think anything of TASP.

lol. no they dont. probably because one of the seniors is a gay pedophile (he hasnt come out of the closet yet though.). they probably forgot the incident by now anyway

HAHAHA. Karen! I’ve done that a few times, as well, exclaiming stuff like that.

Pirate it, pirate it, pirate it. coughcough. That’s how I got my version of Photoshop! Students simply CANNOT pay upwards of $800 for a freaking program, man.

A lot of software companies actually like pirating. When college or high school kids use their products they become familiar with that company and develop a loyalty to them. Then when those kids become influential in some business (as I don’t doubt some of you might) they use that companies products. Business cannot get away with pirating so they end up buying the rights to the program at a large scale. That way for every kid pirating their software, the potential for a big sale is set up. Everybody wins.

What I did:
Charles Melick -> coach -> union -> labor (economics) -> macroeconomics -> list of international trade topics -> free on board -> incoterms -> delivered duty unpaid

8 clicks! Woot. I am loving this game. Haha. I should work. Oh well!

I just got back from dinner with my parents. They decided we should go to Albuquerque. Consiquently I decided to go somewhere with my friends. Anyone want to take a little vacation somewhere from like, July 5th until July 10th? I’ll wait till TASP notifications for an answer.

someone needs to post here. i’m pretty close to doing my homework which is a horrible sign!

It just started to thunder. That means I just didn’t notice the lightning. Hopefully some wire outside my school will get hit and we wont have power. What a shame, I was looking forward to school.

COOL!!! the electricity just flickered on and off. That’s awesome because I can now tell my teachers “the electricity went off last night. Considering I needed to get on your eboard to do it, I can’t hand it in right now” Perfect.

Warning – I am letting my Canadian show in the following lines.

I know this isn’t the thread to ask about SAT’s but there isn’t another batch of Americans I trust more. I need some SAT advice!!! There aren’t many people up north who know much about the SAT and I need some answers now (regular registration deadline for May testing has already passed in my region!). I just did a practice SAT for the first time out of the '05 or '06 collegeboard SAT tome for a diagnosis and according to their marking rubric I got 2290. Now, I need to know, is that a good diagnosis or bad one? And also, should I sign up for the May SAT if I only have about 4 hours a week to set aside for SAT prep now until May (and approximately how much would I statistically be able to raise my mark by)? Keep in mind I have 6 AP’s the week after the May SAT’s. Inquiries regarding subject tests will soon ensue =) .

And P.S. I’m currently leading (by faaaaaaaaaaar) in the ‘Oh Crrud’ contest. You all should be ashamed! Beware – anyone who doesn’t submit an entry will have his/her name googled. That’s right, even you Aida!
