<p>any connection with Telluride is good, but not a guarantee, for the House(s).
There were 2 TASSers at my TASP.</p>
<p>TASSers do get ‘preferential’ treatment but it doesn’t mean a guarantee
There is a box on the application if you attended one.</p>
<p>If you are a 2nd year applicant the chances you get an interview are substantially higher but not guaranteed. There are so many different combos… Last year there were:</p>
<p>ppl who made final round TASS and got rejected but then got TASP last year.
Those who attended the same programs 2 years in a row
TASSers who didnt get TASP interviews
TASSers who got interviews but not TASP</p>
<p>so its all over the place. But do realize that TASP is just using TASS as a filter because they were already the best kids from their pool and for them to get TASS is a testament to who they are and shows adcoms what they are dealing with.</p>
<p>Also if you apply 2nd year they look at both your TASS and TASP applications.</p>

<p>I don’t watch TV, sorry! It just seems to be…a whole hour of my life, what? How can I possibly spend that zoning out staring at some silly screen?</p>

<p>american idol is the only show i watch so yeah…only an hour and a half wasted each week. not that bad. =)</p>

<p>oh so today my math teacher told me he would average my lowest quiz grade from 3rd marking period with another 100 and a 0. I was so happy because that would double the grade on that particular quiz. </p>
<p>Then he decided to tell me the condition. I had to prove the riemann zeta function. =( Obviously i declined the offer.</p>
